These Terms and Conditions apply to any retreat organised by Mainstream Green Ltd (“we”, “us” or “our”). By booking a retreat, you (“you” or “participant”) agree to these terms, which sit alongside our general Terms and Conditions listed on this page.

Any information, statements and provision of resources or products during Mainstream events are for information purposes only. Always consult a qualified professional for individual advice.

Booking and Payment
A non-refundable deposit (outlined on the retreat registration page) is required at the time of booking to secure your place.

• Full payment is due by the date stated on the registration page. If full payment isn’t received by that date, your place may be cancelled. Mainstream Green is not responsible for any damages, direct or indirect, resulting from such cancellation.

• Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card or other methods as outlined on the registration page or invoice.

• You may only apply one discount, if any, towards registration for retreats
  

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel:

• Cancellations must be made in writing.

• Deposits are non-refundable.

• If you cancel more than 30 days before the retreat start date, we’ll refund any amount paid above the deposit.

• If you cancel within 30 days of the retreat start date, no refund will be given unless we are able to fill your spot.

If we need to cancel:

• If we have to cancel the retreat for any reason (such as low numbers, illness, or unforeseen circumstances), we’ll offer you a full refund.

• We’re not responsible for any other costs you may incur (e.g. travel, accommodation, or loss of income), so we recommend having travel insurance.

Changes and Flexibility

• The retreat schedule and inclusions may be subject to change due to weather, availability, or other factors outside our control. We’ll do our best to keep everything on track and will communicate any changes as early as possible.

• We reserve the right to make reasonable changes without offering a refund.

Your Responsibilities

• You participate in the retreat at your own risk.

• You must let us know about any allergies, medical conditions, or accessibility needs before the retreat.

• You’re responsible for your own safety, health, and personal belongings throughout the retreat.

• You agree to indemnify and hold harmless, Mainstream Green Ltd to the fullest extent of the law, from any and all claims, damages, losses or liability that may result from your participation in the retreat.

Health & Wellbeing

• Our retreats are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or therapeutic care.

• If you’re unwell or experiencing any symptoms of a contagious illness before the retreat, please let us know as soon as possible. We’ll work with you to find a fair solution.

Conduct and Respect

• We’re all about creating a kind, welcoming space. We expect everyone to treat others with respect.

• We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the retreat (without refund) if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or inappropriate for themselves or others. If you witness such behaviour, please promptly contact a Mainstream Green Ltd team member so direct action can be taken.

Photography and Media

• By attending one of our retreats you consent to us using your image and/or likeness in any photography or video recordings we create, unless otherwise advised by you in writing. These recordings may be used for promotional.

• If you are taking videos or photographs during the retreat, you will respect other participants privacy and always check first if they are happy to be photographed or recorded.

All retreat content is the intellectual property of Mainstream Green and is not to be duplicated, copied or shared without express permission. You are not permitted to record the content without permission – whether for distribution or personal use.

Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mainstream Green Ltd are not liable for any loss, injury, damage or expense you may incur in connection with attending the retreat.

• Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Force Majeure
If events beyond our control (like natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions) mean we cannot run the retreat as planned, we’ll let you know as soon as possible. We’ll work with you to reschedule or refund where fair, but we’re not liable for costs outside our control.
